The 1st Athens Balint Weekend was organized with great success on 21-23 February 2014, at the offices of the Hellenic Balint Group in Kifissia (Athens), with Dr Sotiris Zalidis as a guest of honor from London and co-leader of the group for the weekend.
The success of the educational weekend which was organized for the first time in Greece inaugurating officially the introduction of the Balint method in our country, prompted the establishment of an annual Hellenic Balint Weekend following the example of other countries in which Balint groups have been an established practice for clinicians for years.
