The 1st Balint Workshop in which participated the members of the two smaller groups that constitute the Hellenic Balint Group, took place on 13 December 2013. In the workshop, the members had the opportunity to talk in the group about cases of patients and analysands that concern them and hear the thoughts of their colleagues on their cases.
The workshop also included a speech which was followed by a discussion that examined the listening in a Balint group and the ways in which the members can benefit by listening to the others and themselves, if they expand their apprehension to what is implied or “lost” due to the unconscious processes that are at work in the presenter and the group.
