On 10 May 2014 the Council of the british Balint Society granted the accreditation of Balint group leader to Mrs. Lida Bitrou after the completion of her training. This is the first case in which a leader is trained by a foreign Balint society for the sole purpose of organizing and coordinating groups in Greece,
